It is a booking requirement that you have travel insurance for your holiday if travelling abroad and strongly recommended for the UK. Freedom Treks offers an Activity Travel Insurance Scheme with Gold Cover Insurance Services Ltd so that persons travelling on holidays advertised in our brochures and website will be covered under a Master Policy held by us on payment of the insurance premium.

| A family premium of 2 times the adult rate is available for a family of up to 2 adults ( under age 65 ) and 6 children (under age 18). | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

The appropriate insurance premium must be forwarded at the time of booking. As soon as you have received your confirmation invoice recording that you have opted and paid for our insurance, the Cancellation Cover (see below) applies. The remaining covers apply for the duration of the holiday booked through us plus the period of travel from home to departure point and back home afterwards. If you decide to arrange your own insurance, it must be at least comparable to that offered by Freedom Treks in all sections and the Insurance Company and Policy Numbers should be advised to us. |

The baggage and personal effects cover does not include cover for hire bicycles. If you take your own bicycle you should insure it under your household contents policy. We regret this cover is only available to residents of the UK and Channel Islands up to the age of 75. Full details of the cover, conditions and exclusions and of the insurance underwriters will be sent to you when your booking is confirmed. If you are not satisfied with the cover provided, as long as you return the policy within 14 days of issue you will receive a full refund of the premium (provided you have not already travelled or made a claim).Pre-Existing Medical Conditions If you require cover for pre-existing medical condition(s) for yourself, other insureds or any other person on whom the insured person’s trip depends (such as a relative), please call Medical Pre-Screening on 0870 774 4408 quoting Gold Cover Activity. Failure to do so may invalidate certain essential coverages. Please be sure to read carefully the Health Conditions on Page 3 of the Policy wording.
