Freedom Treks is a specialist company offering over 150 different cycling and walking holidays in 20 European countries, attracting families, couples and singles of all ages. Destinations include Holland, France, Austria, Italy and Germany, Slovenia, Poland and Croatia.
 

The company’s recipe for success is simple. It finds professional tour operators offering exciting holidays in the parts of Europe that people really want to explore. These holidays provide clients with the chance to have fun together, to enjoy the countryside at their own pace and gives them the freedom to explore. The luggage is taken care of and, on some trips, guests can even enjoy a little wine tasting or cookery along the way.

Co-founders Stephen Harding and Dick Smith started their quality active breaks company in 2003 as 2 Wheel Treks, offering a range of cycling holidays. Demand for this type of holiday quickly grew and in 2007 a range of walking holidays was added using the same successful formula and the name of the business was changed to Freedom Treks.

They developed a successful business with a growing reputation, offering the perfect holiday for the increasing number of people who want to leave their cars behind and discover the tranquility of the countryside. 

In October 2011 Stephen and Dick rode off into the sunset and Freedom Treks became part of Ski Safari Ltd. As well as Freedom Treks, Ski Safari Ltd. also offers skiing and snowboarding holidays (www.skisafari.com), kitesurfing and windsurfing holidays (www.waveriders.co.uk) and summer holidays in Canada (www.sea-2-sky.com). All progammes are operated from the company's office close to the beach in Hove, East Sussex.
