Walking and Cycling in England
We have an extensive range of holidays in England that are ideal for a shorter break.
The Cotswolds is one of the most beautiful areas of England, known and loved by people across the world. It has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty: an area of warmth and clarity whose stone walls and buildings, open skies, rolling grasslands, beech woods and captivating honey-coloured villages make it an outstanding English landscape - a landscape once experienced, never forgotten.
Or maybe a little bit further south with wonderful scenery, rolling hills, upspoilt villages, the sun on your back, the wind in your hair - discover Devon and Somerset by bike!
Shropshire may be one of England's quiet counties, but don't be deceived, there's still plenty to see and do. Shropshire has over 90 places to visit - historic houses and castles with beautiful gardens, the famous Ironbridge, museums and family attractions. Cycling through some of Shropshire's river valleys is a great way to see this beautiful county.
Finally Suffolk is ideal cycling country. There are no really steep hills, but enough undulations to open up many rewarding views of the haunting coastline, tranquil river estuaries, colour-washed villages and historic market towns. There is an unsurpassed network of almost traffic-free country lanes and a wide selection of inviting tea shops and country pubs.
