This part of the Danube cycle way shows you the most beautiful parts of lower Bavaria. Two beautiful cities are located along the route: Regensburg and the "Venice of the North" Passau. The Danube is sleepy as it meanders along the foot of the Bavarian Forest region. There are many artistic treasures and historical buildings along the way as well as lots of excellent Bavarian beer!
This is the third part of the Danube cycle way. The first is the Young Danube from Donaueschingen to Ulm and the second is the Bavarian Danube from Ulm to Regensburg. The next part of the Danube cycle path is from Passau to Vienna.
You can also book this part of the route with the Bavarian Danube from Ulm to Regensburg to make Ulm to Passau at a cost of £620pp (£675 high season) making a 10 day/9 night holiday.
