This tour, that includes many attractions and cultural highlights, takes you through the interesting and scenic borderland of Poland and the Czech Republic. This is an area of fascinating history - once the country of Silesia, divided after the Prussian-Austrian War in the 18th century, now "reunited" following the Schengen agreement. Wroclaw, the city that has been at the trading crossroads since the early Middle Ages, the capital of Lower Silesia, is where this tour starts and finishes but not before you have crossed the Polish-Czech border 4 times – it is not complicated at all nowadays.
Although this tour is located in a relatively mountainous area, it is an easy tour following river valleys and foothills. In some places where the going gets tougher we take to a narrow gauge railway.
*This is a group tour with a Guide and support vehicle. Because the route is quite complicated and local signposting is poor, it is not recommended on a self-guided basis. However, if you prefer to be on your own and you like an adventure, then it can be arranged on a self-guided basis.
