This old trade route has retained its historic image and its romantic atmosphere to provide the means for this relaxing bike tour alongside the Rivers Main and Tauber through quiet and charming landscapes on bicycle paths and small country roads. Starting in the beautiful town of Würzburg, known for its many churches, and ending in the famous gothic town of Rothenburg.
Where is Würzburg? Take a map of Germany, put your finger in the middle to find Frankfurt and slip a little bit to east and then to south. Now you are normally in Lower Franconia (if your fingers are not too big or sliding too fast), just between Nuernberg and Frankfurt
