Summary

The Zagoria region is part of the Pindos Mountain Range, made up of the Gamila and Mitsikeli Mountains and flanked by the Aoos River. It’s also renowned for its beautiful villages and cobbled paths made from local stone and home to the brown bear and lynx. Vikos Gorge, with its rugged riverbed and jagged slopes, is a real wilderness challenge and Europe’s deepest canyon.
