Summary

This hike is a collection of different grade walks. You do not have to have climbing experience, however It is meant for experienced walkers with proper equipment. In general you will walk along mountain ridges, mountain meadows, valley floors, slowly descending from east to west. The landscape has an Alpine character.

Your starting location Jezersko means, “place with the lake”. When the glacier melted after the last Ice Age a large lake was formed which remained until the end of 14th century. There are only fields and grassland nowadays. From here you walk to the world famous town of Bled and its lake with an old church on an island in the middle. Why not stay some extra nights in Bled where you can have time in the town or explore with a further walk.
