This tour can be divided into two separate holidays. Northern Wine Street day 1 to day 4 and leave on day 5. Southern Wine Street arrive day 4 to day 8.

- Fly Frankfurt Fraport, Frankfurt Hahn, Baden Baden, Stuttgart then a train to Bad Durkheim or Neustadt
Itinerary
Day 1:
Arrive in Bad Dürkheim and visit points of interest such as the biggest wine barrel of the world, the salt works, health spa and the casino.
Day 2:
The first day evolves around wine growing and its history. You visit the archaeological site of a Roman estate and a reconstructed winepress as well as the medieval Freinsheim with well-maintained fortification. 13 miles.
Day 3:
The Pfalzer Forest has a special atmosphere and is a region much sought after. The medieval fortresses and monasteries in and around Bad Dürkheim are relics from the old days of warfare. The second part of the day brings you to Deidesheim, a famous and large wine-growing community with chateau-like wine estates and a town hall exemplary for the regional architecture. 13 miles.
Day 4:
A relaxing and enjoyable day as you walk from Deidesheim on the balcony path of Pfalz. Here are many wine estates with excellent cuisine and spectacular views over the vineyards to the Rhine. You reach Neustadt, the largest wine-growing community of Germany with its historic old town. 6 miles.
Day 5:
The tour starts in the vineyards and brings you to the castle Hambach. You walk in the Pfalzer Forest to the most beautiful scenic viewpoints and in the evening you are directly on the border of forest and vineyards. Overnight in St. Martin. 11 miles.
Day 6:
Many stories are told in Edenkoben, for example the true story of Leathersocks. Second highlight of the day is Landau with its charming old town and old fortification where you will spend the night. 13 miles.
Day 7:
The Southern German Wine Street has a very distinctive flavour. Enjoy this wonderful vineyard tour, ending with a visit to the ancient monastery Klingenmunster as well as the ruins of Landeck fortress. In the old thermal spa town of Bad Bergzabern you can relax or splash around to celebrate the end of the holiday. 14 miles.
Day 8:
Departure after breakfast or stay a few days in the health resort.
