Itinerary
Day 1 (saturday):
Arrival in Playa de Palma.
Day 2 (sunday):
You start your walking holiday with a walk along the coast to the city of Palma, from where the famous old train to Soller departs. Either by tram or on foot you cross the gardens of Soller to Puerto Soller where you will spend the night.
Walking time: 3 hours

Distance: 8 miles; 12 km
Day 3 (monday):
You will retrace your way back to Soller using the tram. Continuing along the old postal route to Son Mico and further on the peninsula Muleta to the lighthouse of Ca Gros. From there it is an easy descent back to your hotel in Puerto Soller.
Walking time: 4 hours
Character: 58 m – 200 m – 150 m – 200 m – 100 m – 0 m altitude Puerto Soller. Easy descent to the old postal route with view to the peninsula. Afterwards slightly up and down to the lighthouse.
Distance: 9 miles; 14.5 km
Day 4 (tuesday):
Today you will walk into the fruit valley along the stone wall of mount Balitx. This is a lovely high trail to the romantic mountain village of Fornalutx, which claims to be the most picturesque village on the island and indeed in the whole of Spain. The only people who may disagree are the residents of nearby Biniaraix who lay claim to the same title. Easy descent to the city of Soller where you may enjoy a coffee on the main “plaza”. You can then take the tram back to your hotel in Puerto Soller.
Walking time: 4 hours
Character: 0 m – 166 m (Fornalutx) – 58 m (Soller) – 0 m altitude Puerto Soller. On the road slightly upwards into the fruit valley. Walking trail with short steep ascends to Fornalutx. Gentle descent to Soller on walking trails and later on on the road.
Distance: 8 miles; 13.5 km
Day 5 (wednesday):
Today is a rest day in Puerto Soller. Our tip: take a boat to the bay of Sa Calobra.
Day 6 (thursday):
You will be transfered to the lake Cuber to follow the serpentine pilgrimage route to the peak of the mountain Es Cornador with wonderful views of Soller and the coast. You will then take the the famous terrace walk down to the idyllic gorge and the gardens of Soller. You can then take the tram back to your hotel in Puerto Soller.Walking time: 5.5 hours
Character: Transfer to an altitude of 749 m – 890 m -955 m – 58 m height. Flat around the lake, slowly ascending to the pass, steeply uphill to the peak (return approx. 50 minutes), regular descent to Soller.
Distance: 11 miles; 17 km
Day 7 (friday):
Transfer to Valldemossa where you will start you tour on the high trail of Archduke Salvator from Austria. He designed a very nice horse trail up to the peaks which are now a superb walking trail. Wonderful view to the coastline of Deia and to the Tramuntana Mountain range. Valldemossa is also known for the monastery where Frédéric Chopin and George Sand lived. Bus to Playa de Palma where you will spend the night.
Walking time: 5.5 hoursCharacter: In the beginning regular ascent through the olive grove and holm oak forest up to Mount Pouet. Afterwards an almost flat trail from peak to peak. Steep descent down to the valley of Valldemossa.
Distance: 10 miles; 16.5 km
Day 8 (Saturday):
Trip ends after breakfast.
