North Sardinia Bike Tour

Hotel & Bike 7 nights

VISITING: Italy

Why we love this tour

"See exclusive resorts, traditional fishing villages and sandy beaches that make up Sardinia's northern coast. The island is a favourite for Italian holiday makers but still relatively unknown to British visitors. Exploring by bike is the perfect way to see the real Sardinia."

The Costa Smeralda is the ultimate chic retreat for Italy’s jet set – with its powder-white beaches, elegant resort towns and typical Mediterranean villages, it’s no wonder they flock here. Ride along this stunning stretch of coastline, stopping off to stretch out on glistening sands and bathe in turquoise waters, before touring inland across shrub-covered hillsides.

Hop on a ferry to discover the luxury island of Maddalena and cross the bridge to Garabaldi’s wild and rocky home of Caprera island. Away from the coast, the eroded granite cliffs and wind carved boulders of Moon Valley are one of Sardinia’s best known landmarks and you’ll cross green pastures towards red cliffs and hidden bays. Traditional towns, coastal villages and rural hamlets are a great place to try fresh fish and local wines, and you’ll finish the tour in the medieval streets of Alghero – one of the island's most appealing towns.

Please Note: the grading of this tour is based on the hardest day and not the tour as a whole, which is a mix of challenging days, moderate days, and easier days.
