Discover the unspoiled landscapes and local legends of southern Poland as you tour through its medieval towns, authentic villages and dramatic gorges – with no difficult gradients, this trip is a gentle introduction to the region. Starting and finishing in Krakow you’ll have time to experience one of Europe’s most compelling collections of UNESCO monuments, and the fairytale towers of Niedzica Castle are something to look forward to halfway through the trip.

Cycling through the narrow Dunajec Gorge is unforgettable – you’ll pedal beneath limestone cliffs dripping with lush vegetation, touring past traditional wooden churches and horse drawn carts laden with hay. Climbing into the mountains, with help from a mini bus and cable car, the panoramic views across Poland and Slovakia are astounding and you’ll experience folk culture, traditional music and local cuisine when you stop for a break in authentic mountain villages – make sure you try the local smoked ewe’s cheese and plum brandy.

If you prefer more independence, choose the self-guided Krakow & Dunajec Cycle Path tour.
