In December of 2018 I travelled to experience one of our Thailand cycling tours, the Bangkok and River Kwai Short Break. Here are a few photos which I hope will show why a cycling holiday in South East Asia is a completely unique experience.
On my tenth Freedom Treks tour, I cycled the Best of Holland tour, which certainly lived up to its name! Starting & finishing in Amsterdam, this seven-night Boat & Bike tour takes in beautiful polder landscapes and interesting towns along the way.
In June I enjoyed my first taste of a Freedom Treks cycling tour, relaxing & unwinding in the comfort of a beautifully restored Alentejo Farmhouse on the Cycling in Paradise tour in rural Portugal. It was such a fantastic experience, I want to go back!
In May 2018, I took a girls’ cycling trip with four friends. With varying commitments, we wanted a short break trip to an easy to get to destination, leisurely rides, great scenery and importantly, wonderful cuisine. The four-night Venetian Delights tour fitted the bill perfectly!
In April 2018, I travelled with Ben from our marketing team to Trogir on the Dalmatian coast of Croatia to experience the National Parks of Dalmatia - Deluxe tour. What better way to see Croatia’s stunning coast and islands than cycling on quiet roads with a local guide, then returning to a luxurious floating hotel for lunch and a cold drink on deck?
The archipelago that surrounds Stockholm is the second largest in the Baltic Sea and is home to a stunningly beautiful coastline, quiet forests and attractive little villages. In June 2017, I cycled the route with my partner and our son and enjoyed a wonderful five-day break hopping between islands.
In May 2017 myself, my partner and our two year old son enjoyed a 7 night River Danube Boat & Bike holiday filled with memorable days cycling through stunning landscapes, delicious food and a relaxing stay on the remarkably spacious, art-deco style MS Theodor Körner.
