What to expect when you book through Freedom Treks

 

What's included in a Freedom Treks booking?

What we organise for you

Once you have made your booking request and paid your deposit, we’ll get to work securing your tour. This will include:

  • The bike tour with your accommodation preference (boat or hotel)
  • Bike hire
  • Extra nights, where possible
  • Transfers, where possible
  • Dietary and any other additional requirements while on the tour

When you choose to travel and how you travel to reach the tour's starting location will be down to you. However, each tour page has a 'how to get there' FAQ, plus our team has extensive knowledge of websites, apps and routes you can use to reach our tours, so please don't hesitate to contact us. We are here to help!

 

What happens after I've made a booking request?

Leave your booking request with us, and we will begin making the necessary arrangements. We will contact you with any updates and inform you when your tour is confirmed so you can make your travel arrangements.

Make your travel arrangements

Please wait for our official confirmation before committing to any travel arrangements, such as booking flights, ferry, car hire or train tickets. We make every effort to organise your trip as quickly as possible (usually within two days). But all bookings are subject to availability, and sometimes it can take a little longer.

Payment

The full balance will need to be paid 10 weeks before your tour departure date. If you book within 10 weeks of your departure, then the balance will need to be paid in full at the time of booking. You can make a payment online or by phone.

Holiday documents

Three or four weeks before the tour starts, we’ll send you an email filled with details about your itinerary, your accommodation, route navigation and other helpful information. This is the exciting bit - you're all set!

Pre-departure check-in

We will do our best to contact you just before you depart on your holiday to make sure you have everything you need before you go.

 

Ways to book with Freedom Treks

Online

You can book your tour from the tour page by selecting your preferred dates and completing our secure online booking form. Be sure to have each of your passengers' details ready before you start, including dates of birth, heights and bike preferences.

By phone

Frequently asked questions about booking through Freedom Treks.

Do you take a deposit?

Yes, a deposit is taken during the booking enquiry if your tour is more than 10 weeks away.

Does a deposit secure my booking?

A deposit is required to start the booking process. Your booking will only be confirmed once your accommodation and bikes have been secured. If there is an issue with availability, we will contact you to discuss alternatives.

Is a deposit refundable?

Deposits are non-refundable unless it is on the very rare occasion that we can't find a suitable holiday solution for you.
