Spend four days in the fertile Umbrian valley, touring world-class vineyards and experiencing the rich history and culture of the region’s towns. Start with an introduction to Umbrian wines in the cobbled streets of Spello, one of the prettiest towns in the region, and develop your understanding of winemaking and viticulture as you tour rich green landscapes blanketed in neat rows of grape vines, tasting local vintages as you go.

The cycling is mostly easy-going with short daily distances giving you plenty of time to savour the flavours in four famous wine areas. The wine museum and ancient tower in the beautiful town of Torgiano are well worth a visit and the medieval architecture and Basilica of Saint Francis in the spiritual town of Assisi lives up to the hype.
