Cycling History

I cycle for fitness and enjoyment, and there’s truly no better way to explore the world. Over the past few years, I’ve pedalled through the UK, France, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Italy, Albania, North Macedonia, Portugal, Latvia, and Estonia - each destination offering its own unique landscapes and stories. So, where to next on two wheels? I’m always eager to explore new places and share the joy of cycling with others.

Last Hotel Tour

I recently completed the Riga to Tallinn Bike Tour with my colleague Evan, an incredible journey along the Baltic Coast. I especially enjoyed the gravel stretches and longer distances, which added enjoyable variety and kept the ride interesting.

Last Boat & Bike Tour

Our Kvarner Bay Deluxe Boat & Bike Tour, which offered the perfect mix of cycling, discovery, and relaxation. Travelling aboard the Andela Lora with an excellent crew and guides made the week truly special. It’s an experience I’d highly recommend for anyone wanting a balanced adventure on land and sea.

Next Tour

Wherever the adventure takes me next! Since returning from a ski trip in Narvik, Norway earlier this year, I’ve had my eyes set on the Lofoten Islands Bike Tour. Norway is breathtaking, and the Lofoten Islands are a true bucket-list destination, often hailed as one of the world’s most beautiful archipelagos. Exploring its dramatic landscapes by bike would be truly special.

Best Travel Memory

Backpacking solo around Southeast Asia at a young age was a transformative experience. It opened my eyes to the world and laid the foundation for my deep love of travel and adventure.

Strangest Travel Experience

While backpacking in Thailand, I was dropped off by a night bus in the middle of nowhere - no battery, no local towns in sight, and it was the early hours of the morning. I tried to sleep by the roadside and was lucky to hitch a ride on the back of a local rice farmer’s scooter the next morning. I still don’t quite know what went wrong or how I ended up there!

Top Travel Tip

Patience and flexibility are essential. Sometimes, bus stops don’t exist or trains arrive hours late - time simply moves differently in some parts of the world. Embrace the unexpected, and you’ll enjoy the journey much more.

Most Challenging Tour

Our Highlights of Albania Guided Bike Tour was a real test of endurance and spirit. Starting in the bustling capital, Tirana, the route briefly crosses into North Macedonia before heading into the mountains and finishing along the stunning Albanian Riviera. The climbs were demanding, but the epic scenery and exhilarating downhills made it all worthwhile. If you haven’t cycled in Albania yet, it should definitely be on your list.
