Cycling History
My mum used to take us on cycling trips when we were young and I kind of hated them, but I've learned to appreciate the joys of seeing things by bike as an adult! I prefer rough trails to busy roads, although city bike tours are always fun.
Favourite Tour
I've spent a bit of time in Sri Lanka and fell in love with the country, so I'd really like to go back and do the Spice Trails of Sri Lanka Bike Tour.
Best Travel Memory
One of the most memorable was taking the Trans-Siberian/Mongolian Railway from Moscow to Beijing in the middle of winter. Loved every second of it.
Strangest Travel Experience
Difficult to pick, but crossing the Atacama Desert through Bolivia has to be right up there - that place feels like Mars.
Top Travel Tip
Always pack a roll of duct tape - it's amazing how often this comes in handy.
Interesting Fact
I was East Devon under-10 judo champion, which turned out to be the pinnacle of my sporting career.
