What to expect
Cycle the stunning coast of Thailand, riding south from Bangkok and arriving on your choice of three islands. Swap the energetic streets of Bangkok for spectacular cycling through peaceful landscapes filled with salt pans, fishing villages and jungle-lined paddy fields. You will ride in a small group and have the expertise of a professional, English-speaking local guide who will really help you make the most of this tour.
You will mainly ride on backroads, setting a leisurely pace. The terrain is mostly flat, with a few small hills and the air-conditioned support van is always on hand if you need a break. Cool off after your days in the saddle with a dip in the powder blue sea of Thailand’s gulf. You will cycle beside rubber plantations and quiet beaches unvisited by many travellers. Along the way, there are stops to see a group of gentle langur monkeys and visit the spectacular Waghor Aquarium.
