Overview

What to expect

Cycle from the south heading north through Vietnam, starting in the highlands before following the coast the rest of the way. After a short flight to the colonial-era town of Dalat, it’s a stunning six-day cycle to Hoi An. Lead by an expert guide, you’ll ride in a small group on top quality bikes. Most of the route is on paved backroads, and you’ll cover a few miles by road and railway.

With some longer days and small hills, you’ll enjoy this tour most if you cycle regularly at home. There’s a halfway rest day, and the support van is always on hand if you need a break. With lots of variety, you’ll ride through misty pine forests to beaches, fishing villages and historic landmarks. Along the route, you’ll taste local beer, fresh seafood and some of the best coffee in Southeast Asia. On the final day, the boat ride into the ancient city of Hoi An is a fantastic way to finish.

  • Colonial villas in the romantic town of Dalat
  • Coastal cycling past fishing villages and beaches
  • Arrive in the World Heritage city of Hoi An by boat
  • Six days of cycling with longer days and hills that are achievable for regular cyclists

We had an amazing holiday thanks, the whole experience from meeting our guide, driver and cycling companion (I can’t spell any of their names) to arriving by boat in Hoi An was fantastic! The company couldn't have been better, we ate the best food and met lots of wonderful people on the way. We were looked after from start to finish. The cycling was great, long days at a sensible pace as it was very hot.
