Journey through Austria’s alpine valleys and stunning mountainous terrain, carved over thousands of years by powerful rivers and waterfalls, on this family-friendly Salzburg to Villach Bike Tour. Following the Alpe Adria Cycle Path, you'll cross a diverse landscape by bike and train, becoming immersed in your beautiful surroundings and charmed by each historic village you encounter.

You'll ride through a mixed landscape on dedicated cycle paths or quiet roads. The terrain is flat and gently undulating, making this an ideal tour for those wanting a more leisurely experience and for families with cycling experience.

Your magical cycling tour starts in Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart. This cultural hub of arts and music features striking historic buildings set against a lush mountainous backdrop. Use the Alpe Adria Cycle Path to reach the Celtic town of Hallein, the roaring Golling and Gastein waterfalls, the remarkable mountain spa resort of Bad Gastein, and the charming town of Spittal.
