Tour along the lush riverbanks of the Danube, from the pretty river-town of Passau, to Vienna in Austria. With daily cycles lasting no more than three hours you can enjoy the Danube at your own pace, stopping off for lazy picnics or long lunches in waterside towns. Natural beauty and historic monuments are firm features of this tour – Austria’s oldest city, the dramatic scenery of the Great Loop and the castles of Wachau are some of the best bits.

As you pedal beside neat vineyards and wooded riverbanks, you’ll pass enchanting towns and winemaking villages, with lots of opportunities to try the local wines. When you pedal into the cultural capital of Linz and the musical streets of Vienna, take your time to explore the authentic art galleries and fascinating museums or relax in the tempting cafes with Vienese coffee and delicious pastries.
