What to expect
Cycle around the diverse islands of Kvarner Bay, cruising past fissured cliffs and pebble beaches on an adventurous escape with added luxury – look forward to relaxing on a duluxe motor yacht with the best of everything, from superior cabins to a sumptous sun deck. You can make the cycling as easy or adventurous as you like, with optional detours and the choice of electric bikes. The natural landscapes here are breathtaking, so get ready to capture crimson sunsets on camera and spot endangered griffon vultures gliding overhead.
Each island is unique and you’ll ride through wild landscapes and green meadows, smell fragrant pines and discover hidden coves and lunar landscapes. Fortified towns make relaxing places to stop for an espresso or you can cycle to medieval clifftop villages for glass of local wine.

Day 1 (Sun):
Omišalj – Cres
Make your way to the pretty harbour village of Omišalj, on the island of Krk and, at around 3pm, set sail for Cres where you will then explore the Venetian old town on a guided evening walk.
Day 2 (Mon):
Cres - Lošinj
14 miles (23 km)
Cruise to Martinšcica, on the island’s western shore, and cycle past pine, fig and laurel trees to the artists’ town of Osor for lunch and a swim. Cross a swing bridge to the island of Lošinj and pedal along a panoramic route to the health resort of Mali Lošinj. Enjoy an evening in the colourful harbour.
Day 3 (Tue):
Losinj - Molat

Cycle south along the seafront before crossing to Molat for a relaxing bike ride on this peaceful island of hidden coves and secluded swimming spots.
Day 4 (Wed):
Dugi Otok - Zadar
26 miles (42 km)
Cruise to the green island of Dugi Otok during breakfast and cycle along traffic free roads taking in the beautiful sea views and neighbouring islands to the bay of Božava surrounded by pine trees. Cruise on to the romantic island of Zadar where we drop anchor for the night.
Day 5 (Thu):
Pag - Rab
12 miles (20 km)
Sail to the wild island of Pag, where stonewalls protect fig and olive trees from the wind. Cycle along a narrow peninsula before cruising to the island of Rab. Explore the narrow streets and cosy cafes of the medieval capital, where four famous bell towers symbolise the town’s beauty.
Day 6 (Fri):
Rab - Krk
15 miles (25 km)
Bike along the coast to Rab’s barren eastern half, where the rocky terrain resembles a lunar landscape. Relax on one of the Kvarner islands’ few sandy beaches and enjoy a refreshing sea swim. Cruise to the island of Krk to spend an evening beside the ancient walls of its 3000-year-old capital.
Day 7 (Sat):
Krk - Omišalj
28 miles (45km)
Cycle over Krk’s shrub covered ridge into a valley of vineyards. Arrive in the town of Vrbnik, perched 50 metres above the Adriatic and home to the world’s narrowest alley and a famous white wine. Cycle past traditional villages and rich vegetation to the town of Omišalj, stopping off for a dip at Soline Bay.
Day 8 (Sun):
Depart from Omišalj
Enjoy a final breakfast before checking out by 9am and saying farewell to your crew and fellow passengers.

Launched in June 2012, the deluxe Andela Lora is a very elegant motor yacht. She has 17 comfortable, spacious and air-conditioned cabins (10-14m2) with wc and tiled shower cabin, some are three or four bed cabins. Numerous sun beds and mats are available on the spacious sun deck or you can relax in the whirlpool. There is a bathing platform is available at the stern – offering easy access to swim in the sea.

A group transfer is included from Zagreb airport (12.15 pm on arrival day)
Taxis is available from Rijeka to Omisalj which takes approx. 20min.
Bus (Bus Croatia) is available from all other airports to Omisalj. This takes between 2 and 4 hrs. Alternativley a transfer can be booked through us. Please call us for more details and cost.

Taxis is available to Rijeka from Omisalj which takes approx. 20min.

Can I stay on the boat during the day and not cycle?
Yes, you can relax on the boat or explore when you arrive at each destination instead of cycling.
Why is this tour good for solo cyclists?
There is the option to book a same sex shared cabin with no supplement.
What is the average temperature on this tour?
Can the boat cater for special dietary requirements?
Please advise us of any special requirements at time of booking and we will notify the boat operator in advance. Understandably, kitchen galley space is limited and it may not be possible to provide specialist products (eg. Gluten free). We suggest you bring a few items with you and, in some cases, these can be provided at a supplement.
How much space will I have in my cabin?
There is limited space in the cabins, so pack light and take a soft suitcase.
What's the etiquette with crew tips?
Tips are at your own discretion, an envelope is always left in the cabins on the last day.
