Pedal along flat riverside paths and scenic cycle routes, choosing between four optional tours that guide you through rural landscapes to the stunning chateaux that earned this region its World Heritage status.
Cycle past green forests and huge vineyards, discovering stately homes, hunting grounds and historic cities. Stroll around walled gardens with climbing roses or step inside a chateau to see period furniture, enormous tapestries and painted ceilings. The hotel Clos d'Amboise is a 17th century house converted into a hotel with outdoor pool, close to the chateau.
The hotel au Charme Rabelaisien is a 10-room hotel with wellness area and heated outdoor pool (June to mid September), located in the centre of Amboise and 5 minutes’ walk from the castle.
The Manoir Saint Thomas has ten rooms, located in the centre of Amboise, and has an outdoor heated pool.

Take the train (SNCF) from Amboise, then fly from Tours or Paris. Alternatively, take the Eurostar from Paris.
Some days will be flat, other days will have some modest hills. Easy to Moderate cycling holidays are suitable for most ages and degrees of fitness. We recommend that you have some previous cycling experience.
