Beer lovers are in for a treat on this wonderful tour as this part of Bavaria has the greatest concentration of breweries anywhere in the world, with an average of two breweries per square mile! You’ll cycle between historic medieval towns including Nuremberg, Bamberg and Rothenburg, each home to a collection of breweries where you can try locally produced beers. Enjoy beautiful views and a collection of charming castles along the way.

The cycling is rated as moderate, with daily distances between 31 and 37 miles (50 and 60km). The route is undulating in parts, but you’re rewarded with wonderful landscapes, filling local food and of course a beer or two! With so much to see and do, groups of friends will love this tour. When you arrive in the UNESCO World Heritage town of Bamberg relax and try the local beer (4 beer vouchers per adult included).
