Tour along the Danube cycle path through beautiful lower Bavaria, from the World Heritage city of Regensburg to Passau's waterside streets. Cycling along gentle riverside paths, this four day tour is ideal for families – e-bikes are available and there are plenty of places to stop off for ice-creams and riverside picnics.
Follow the Danube as it meanders past open plains, dark green forests and typical Bavarian villages – each authentic settlement you’ll visit holds unique appeal, from the festival town of Straubing to the university city of Deggendorf. An area packed with cultural and historic treasures, look out for modest riverside castles, magnificent monasteries and a remarkable hilltop temple.

Take the train (Bahn) from Passau, then fly from Munich.
Your days will involve gentle riding, mainly on flat terrain and with minimal effort required. Easy cycling holidays are suitable for most people whether you are a regular cyclist or not, however we recommend at least a few practice rides before your holiday!
