What to expect
Enjoy a long weekend of easy cycling, riding from the mountain city of Bolzano to Verona's pink-hued streets via Lake Garda’s glistening shores. Touring through Veneto’s green landscapes, you’ll bike along riverside paths, picturesque tracks and quiet country roads with a backdrop of mountain peaks.
As you pedal beside the banks of the Adige River, you’ll pass green vineyards and typical Tyrolean villages. Cooling off in Lake Garda’s clear waters makes a welcome halfway treat and cycling into Verona on the last day is a special experience. You’ll have time to see the main city sights, but to fully immerse yourself in the setting for Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, extend your stay by an extra day.

My experience with Freedom Treks was wonderful. As it was my first cycling trip, I had many questions. Catherine was always a phone call or email away. The information on the website regarding the tour was also accurate, and the maps and instructions provided helped ensure we stay on course. I will not hesitate to book another trip with them again!Yin Liau, Singapore, May 2019
Bolzano is a beautiful place to start your tour - well worth spending a couple of days beforehand. The ride just gets better as you go. It is a superhighway for bikes with superb scenery as you ride along. Trento has lots to see and the view as you come down the hill into Riva Del' Garda takes your breath away. The ferry ride gives a taste of all the beautiful little villages along the lake. Verona is a place to spend a few days. The history and the sights are there to enjoy. All of accommodation was great, the bikes and luggage transfers made the trip a pleasure and the staff at Freedom Treks were helpful and a delight to deal with.Glenys Sleeman, Australia, June 2018
