Starting in the magical city of Venice, this 14 night tour heads south down the beautiful Adriatic coast. On the first week, you’ll cycle past flamingos and unique plant life in the Delta del Po nature reserve and ride with a backdrop of neat vineyards and sunflower fields. Following the Adige and Po rivers, you’ll pedal through fishing villages and authentic towns that hold unique charms and you can look forward to fresh fish, stuffed pasta, Parma ham and excellent wine before arriving in Florence, Tuscany’s history-charged capital, where you have a free day to explore.

During your second week, you'll discover Italy’s quieter side as you skirt the Apennine Mountains and tour through Umbria’s green heart, stopping off at ancient towns. As you ride through rural Italy, you’ll pass raging rivers, plunging gorges and roaming sheep. Look forward to peaceful pedalling past the soft hills surrounding Lake Trasimeno and enjoy the tranquillity of traditional Umbrian villages. Each historic town and astounding ancient ruin you’ll visit holds unique appeal. The world-famous pilgrimage city of Assisi lives up to the hype, Spello’s streets are some of the prettiest in Italy and the romantic city of Terni is renowned for its excellent pastries and creative cuisine.
