Cycling history
I got into cycling, as I’m sure many others did too, during the pandemic. It was tough tackling the hills in my local area but enjoyable nonetheless! I have since enjoyed casual cycling, taking in the wonderful views the South Coast has to offer.
Favourite tour
I visited Croatia when I was younger and have been keen to return and explore it more ever since. The Dubrovnik to Split Boat and Bike Tour seems like the perfect way to do so.
Best travel memory
The South of France definitely comes to mind. I stayed in Nice which was beautiful, but getting the train to Monaco for a day trip felt like a dream - couldn’t recommend more, especially for any F1 fans.
Strangest travel experience
On a family holiday when I was a kid, I was snorkelling in the sea. I dipped my goggles in the sea to clean them and put them back on again. Ten minutes later I rush to shore telling my mum my eye is really hurting - turns out I had accidentally let a baby jellyfish into my goggles and it had stung me. It was a long walk in the scintillating heat to find the appropriate cream to cure me!
Top travel tip
Explore as much as you can - sometimes the most amazing views are hidden and need to be found.
Interesting fact
I’ve always been a bit of an adrenaline seeker - I used to ask my parents to turn the family holiday into a watersports holiday!
