I got into cycling, as I’m sure many others did, during the pandemic. It was tough tackling the hills in my local area, but enjoyable nonetheless! I have since enjoyed leisurely cycling, taking in the wonderful views the South Coast has to offer.

Cycling our Danube - Vienna to Budapest Bike Tour was my first taste of a cycling holiday - and I was instantly hooked. The route followed mostly flat cycle paths, with some low- traffic secondary roads, which were nice to mix up the terrain. The views were beautiful, with the river never far away and rich greenery everywhere you looked.

I cycled on an e-bike, which provided some extra support when needed and also meant I wasn't knackered by the time I reached each destination! Exploring three capitals - Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest was an absolute dream, as well as the towns and cities in between. Győr and Esztergom in Hungary were personal highlights, with their stunning architecture coupled with a raw, authentic vibe.

The South of France definitely comes to mind. I stayed in Nice which was beautiful, but getting the train to Monaco for a day trip felt like a dream - couldn’t recommend more, especially for any F1 fans.

On a family holiday when I was a kid, I was snorkelling in the sea. I dipped my goggles in the sea to clean them and put them back on again. Ten minutes later I rush to shore telling my mum my eye is really hurting - turns out I had accidentally let a baby jellyfish into my goggles and it had stung me. It was a long walk in the scintillating heat to find the appropriate cream to cure me!

Explore everywhere you go as much as you can. Sometimes the most amazing views are hidden and need to be found!

I’ve always been a bit of an adrenaline seeker - I used to ask my parents to turn the family holiday into a watersports holiday!
