Spain's Northern Coast Bike Tour

Ride along the less-visited Cantabrian & Asturian coast of northern Spain, where rich green countryside contrasts with the blue sea and golden beaches. This beautiful ride passes flower-filled villages and fishing harbours, with a backdrop of the dramatic Picos de Europa Mountains. Some stretches of the cycle route are more demanding than others, but you’ll have the option of three full rest days to relax on the beach and refuel in scenic seafood restaurants, try canoeing on the river or hike to spectacular gorges.

Riding through Asturias, you’ll descend through eucalyptus forests and cycle past rugged coves, following rolling meadows down to the sea. The region’s low key resorts and timeless towns are full of fascinating landmarks, from the historic bridges of San Vicente to the twisting streets of Llanes. The fine sands of Somo and the elegant city of Santander are enticing places to end your adventure.
