Cycling history
I’ve been very lucky enough to cycle around Europe through France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, and the UK. My first big journey was John o’ Groats to Lands’ End on my own which was an amazing experience meeting new people and seeing the beautiful British coast. I’ve just returned from living in St Anton, Austria doing snow biking in the Arlberg Mountains!
Favourite cycle route
Bruges to Rotterdam and Amsterdam was fantastic, mostly cycle paths which were rather quiet with incredible views. Lots of windmills and tulips.
Last tour
Kvarner Bay Deluxe Boat & E-Bike Tour – Loved the boat, loved the swimming, loved the towns/cities, and loved the cycling. Loved it!
Next tour
I want the challenge of Highlights of Albania Bike Tour. Some tough hills, but it looks like the hard work and sweat will be worth the views. And what goes up must come down!
Best travel memory
Driving a motor home around Oz for 6 months and doing the east and south coast surfing.
Interesting fact
I'm originally from Newquay, Cornwall so love to surf a “gnarly wave”.
