The halfway point of your trip is the historic city of Innsbruck where you'll explore the narrow, cobbled streets and admire the famous Golden Roof. After a short train ride, you'll arrive in Oranienburg, an historic town on the outskirts of Germany's vibrant capital. You'll want to travel early from Dresden to Oranienburg so you can soak in as much of Berlin as possible, with wonderful attractions like the beautiful Bundestag, the Brandenburg Gate and many museums and art galleries. As you cycle towards Copenhagen through rolling countryside, you'll pass everything from Baroque castles, Germany's oldest working boatlift and beautiful national parks, home to a fascinating array of wildlife.
